Its site says support can start with a few hours, the plan is built together and changed when life changes, and a real person answers the phone. Respite for the family caregiver is a named service, next to companionship, meals, laundry, errands, daily routines and support while recovering at home, all stated plainly as non-medical.

The phone number is optional on its form, families are contacted only the way they ask, and caregivers are background-checked with continuing education and RN oversight behind the scenes.
